Genmou yarn - carrot (N°19)
Very soft japanese knitting yarn made from slightly twisted merino wool.
The name comes from the lightness and softness of raw wool, "genmou" (原毛) in japanese. This wool is made in Bishu, an area located near the city of Ichinomiya in Aichi prefecture, Japan.
Very pepsy in this vivid orange color.
100% merino wool.
Sold in 30g balls (around 91m).
Beware: this wool also exists in 50g (151m) balls, but at Couleurs Japon we have chosen to offer them in the japanese original 30g size.
3,9 to 4,5mm needles or 4 to 4,5mm crochet hooks.
10cm x 10cm gauge: 19-21 stitches et 27-30 rows.
Hand washing.
About 4 balls are required for a 20x140cm scarf, 10-11 for a woman's sweater (japanese standards).
