Red Japanese brocard with crane patterns woven with gold, white and black threads.
Kinran is a thick, stiff traditional Japanese brocade woven with classic threads and gold and silver threads. The most precious ones are made in Kyoto from the Nishijin district.
It is used to make obi, pouches or bags (for the tea ceremony for example), luxurious cushions, clothes for dolls for the Hinamatsuri doll festival, costumes for traditional Japanese theater, etc.
100% polyester.
Made in Japan.
Sold by the meter in multiples of 10cm with a minimum of 40cm: to order 40cm type 4 in quantities, for 60cm type 6, for 1m type 10, for 1.5m type 15, etc.).
