Blue grey pre-printed sashiko fabric with cross patterns for hitomezashi-style designs measuring 50cm x 108cm.
The crosses are all spaced 5mm apart. The crosses are slightly thicker to mark the 1cm squares, and even thicker for 10cm squares.
The patterns will disappear when sawhed after embroidery.
The hitomezashi style refers to patterns embroidered using only forward stitches in a row, with the patterns appearing gradually (e.g., kaki no hana patterns).
2-3 stitch patterns are presented in the instructions (in Japanese and English).
100% cotton. Made in Japan.
