Semi-plain dark navy blue background. Red, white, blue, beige and golden outlines patterns.
100% cotton.
Made in Japan.
"Country thread" weaving (thick thread with a slightly loose weave, resulting in a light fabric but not transparent and not fine).
Easy to embroider with gold thread or sashiko.
Originally these panels are intended for the manufacture of noren (large split panels that are sometimes found on Japanese doors) by combining 2 panels of 48cm. But you can perfectly use them in decoration by placing them under glass, or sew them a pretty hem and fix them on a baguette. They can also be sewn in the center of a patchwork or blanket, on the back of a jacket ...
