Japanese fabric panel size 110cm (height) x 48cm (width) in cotton with patterns of frogs on a water lily.

Semi-plain dark navy blue background. Red, white, blue, green and golden outlines patterns.

100% cotton.

Made in Japan.

"Country thread" weaving (thick thread with a slightly loose weave, resulting in a light fabric but not transparent and not fine).

Easy to embroider with gold thread or sashiko.

Originally these panels are intended for the manufacture of noren (large split panels that are sometimes found on Japanese doors) by combining 2 panels of 48cm. But you can perfectly use them as a simple decoration (under glass, or with a pretty hem and fixed on rods), or as a patchwork center, or even in sewing by placing the patterns on the back of a jacket or other.
